NEW CRV

NEW CRV 2006

The new CR-V comes with a 2.0-liter DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder engine capable of producing 156 horsepower at 6,500rpm and 19.4kgm of torque at 4,000rpm that has been created with Honda's vast experience in designing powerful engines that are compact in size, lightweight and silent. The intelligent i-VTEC system adjusts the inlet valve opening and closing times according to the engine speed and engine load thus promoting perfect combustion at every engine range. Response is instantaneous at every engine speed, and ideal fuel economy is achieved along with environmental friendliness.
The new CR-V's four-speed transmission has been developed to offer quick acceleration, smooth shifts and low fuel consumption at high speeds. The Cruise Control System provides the driver with convenience on long journeys while the Grade Logic Control System chooses the right gear ratio when driving uphill and downhill.

The new CR-V offers high comfort levels in every situation due to the front toe-control link strut suspension with stabilizer as well as the rear reactive link double wishbone suspension with stabilizer that offers increased comfort and good stability when braking.

The new CR-V features an improved new Real-Time 4WD system that is compact and lightweight. A one-way ball cam pilot clutch helps improve the automatic transition from 2WD to 4WD depending on the conditions, while more stability is achieved when driving on slippery conditions as well as during cornering. Smoothness of a passenger car is achieved in both 2WD and 4WD modes, as well as increased confidence.
